wow. haven't posted in a looong time! well, it's been a crazy spring full of stress and adventure. some great hook-ups (thanks brian and maria!) and some not so good (wont mention names). i spent most of my time working just so i could take the summer off! just spent an amazing holiday weekend in san francisco and now i'm ready to get naughty and nasty! even though my nights are pretty hectic still (two pool leagues, regular poker game, book club, and drinking!) my days are pretty much open. so, if there's anyone out there looking for a little afternoon fun, feel free to hit me up! here's to an awesome summer...woohoo!

well, it's that time again. good ole St. Patty's day. the one time a year when, all of a sudden, everybody and thier mother claims to be Irish. everyone but us Scottsmen that is! a time when people all over the nation try to emmulate an entire culture by drinking, fighting, and vomiting green beer! for me, it just marks one more year on this earth because you see, being a Scott, i very nearly had the true misfortune of being born on this most Papist of holidays. yep, 12:06 am 18th of march. i get the feeling my mother held out as long as she could before bringing me into the world, probabley at my grandfathers most urgent pleading. i can hear him now "hold out, lasse! ye kanna hae the wee lad on this accursed dae!" the old girl managed it somehow and i was spared a life of shame and humiliation. unfortunately though, i was unable to escape the fact that every year my birthday falls on the one day when the whole world is either hung-over or in jail! so, since i was a lad i have had to celebrate it on the 17th or face another birthday alone. one bright spot is that i get to show all my so called 'irish' friends what it means to actually drink! we Scotts are the ones who invented whiskey after all! only, we call it huskebah and are weened on the stuff! yep, St. Patricks day. the one day everyone copies the irish. but what they don't know is that the irish are just copying us!
